How to highlight a party in your Slope chart

If you want to bring the viewer's attention to a particular party in your Slope chart, you can do this by using the custom color override function.

In the Data tab, bind the column with your various parties under Color. In our example, this is the column that contains all countries used in the visualization.

This will generate a categorical legend, containing all different series in your column. To hide it, go to the Legend settings and disable it.

Under the Color settings, click on the dropdown button of your color palette and choose Edit color palette. Then, delete all colors but the one you want for all lines. Finally, turn off the Extend toggle.

In the Custom override section, write down the name of the party you want highlighted, followed by your desired highlight color. For example:

Repeat with all parties that need to be colored differently.
